The 8th grade girls basketball teams both came up short in their home contests last night vs Milton. We knew going in this game would be our toughest. Milton's size and numbers were too much for our Lady Whippets to overcome. Great effort by our B team in their first game of the season. There was a lot of growth between the 1st and 2nd half.

The 7th grade team had a good night in Milton last night. In the first game, the girls battled back from a 5 point deficit to have the lead with 2 minutes to go. But a 3 pointer by Milton with a minute to go gave Milton the lead for good, winning by a score of 22-21.

The girls jumped out to a 10 point lead in the 2nd game and never gave it up. A balanced scoring attack helped the Whippets cruise to a 22-15 win. Great games ladies
