I'm excited to be in Whitewater working for such an amazing school.  I come to Whitewater with 20+ years of experience in the counseling and education field.  Previously, I attended UW-Platteville where I received my BS in Psychology & Elementary Education and my MS in Counseling. 

Why am I a middle school counselor?
I believe that all students deserve a great education which is achieved by families, schools, and the community working together to support our youth.  I am dedicated to creating a positive, friendly, and safe place for all students to feel supported at school.  I love the excitement and energy of students in middle school.  I hope to help support students by empowering them to problem solve and to advocate for themselves throughout life.

What do you do for fun?
Outside of work, my husband and I are very busy raising our 4 children. Our kids are involved in many activities that we enjoy watching and supporting.  As a family, we love to travel and explore new places.  

Why Whitewater?
I love my new position with Whitewater as it brings me closer to my family in Milton, WI.  The Whitewater area brings back wonderful memories of growing up and spending time at the lake.  I'm excited to explore Whitewater with my family while building new memories for my children.  I look forward to meeting all of the students, families, and staff at Whitewater.
