Why Whitewater?
I believed Whitewater would be a great fit for me and where I needed to be in my career. I have not been disappointed! I love this school.
The staff and the students make every day a great day! I am the Library Media Para-Professional. I have worked in education for over 20 years. This is the start of my 17th year at WMS. I work in both the library and in the computer lab. I also supervise the bus loading at the end of the day.
I live in Delavan with my husband. Our children are grown and pursuing their dreams in the arts! My hobbies include reading, swimming, music and camping.
I love working with students and helping them find books I believe they will enjoy reading. Please feel free to contact me anytime if you would like me to help your child find something interesting to read.
Meet the Para-Professionals

Whitewater Middle School has a number of people who work with students in various roles. In the classroom setting, in the library and computer labs, supervising the lunchroom and bus loading.
These people are called Para-Professionals.

Go Whippets!
I love Whitewater! Whitewater has been (and is) a great community in which to live, work, and raise a family. When I married my husband, David, 42 years ago, and moved to Whitewater I had no idea how much I would grow to love this place. Whitewater provided the ultimate learning community in which to raise our four daughters, all of whom went through the Whitewater Schools, attended UW-Whitewater through the high school, and then continued their education at UW-Madison and beyond.
This is my 27th year of working with students at Whitewater Middle School. In my paraprofessional role, I am an advocate for advanced learners/gifted and talented students. I also work to identify and offer opportunities that will challenge capable students and keep them engaged and interested in school. Additionally, I help with before-school supervision and monitor bus loading at the end of the day. Outside of school, in my spare time, I enjoy knitting, weaving, sewing, reading, gardening, camping, hiking, and kayaking with my family. I love art, the "classics", puzzles, and challenges.
Thanks for visiting this website. I look forward to meeting you!

Why Whitewater?
Hello,
My first experience in Whitewater was when I enrolled my twin daughters into gymnastics at the UWW campus. The experience and overwhelming friendliness of the community made me realize it would be a wonderful place to work. This is my 6th year at Whitewater Middle School as a Special Education Paraprofesional. I find it to be a "great adventure" working with all the students and staff.
My background working with children goes back 24 years. Previously, I worked 10 years running a 4K, before & after school program in a daycare center while earning my Associate degree in Early childhood and development. The 5 years prior to raising my children, I worked as a special education aide in an elementary school. I enjoy education and am a strong believer in always continuously learning.
My husband and I work very hard to make sure family time is a part of our every day life. We enjoy camping, biking and playing games with our 3 children.
I am very thankful to be apart of the Whitewater team.
