I graduated from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse in May 2016 with a degree in Spanish Education and English as a Second Language. During my time at UW-L I studied abroad for a semester in Salamanca, Spain where I fell even more in love with the Spanish language and culture! There are so many more places out there that I want to explore including Peru, Chile, Mexico, Argentina... and the list goes on!
When I'm not in school you will be able to find me doing one or more of my favorite activities; cuddling with my dogs, going on new adventures, drinking coffee, or grocery shopping
After graduating from UW-L and having spent 5 years in the beautiful city of La Crosse, I was itching for a change. I wanted to move closer to my family in Madison and start a new chapter in my life doing what I loved most; teaching! I started at Whitewater Middle School last year and I am so happy to continue my journey here this year. The district and staff at Whitewater have continually amazed me with their dedication to students, passion for high quality education, and support for world languages. I look forward to all the new experiences that this year will bring!
